Ayaan
Ayaan is a refugee from Somalia that we have helped settle in Winnipeg. Ayaan and her son Koffee have been a real pleasure to get to know. It is also so amazing to see how much they smile, after all they have been through!

Thierry
Thierry is a refugee in the Kakuma refugee camp in the Sudan. The Kakuma camp is supposed to be one of the worst camps in the world. Nevertheless, Theiry seems to be able to remain positive and resilient. We are looking at helping him set up a small business at the camp until he is admitted into Canada.

Energy Management
Prince of Peace has started the process of looking at all of the ways that we can reduce our energy use. We have completed a lighting energy audit and have started to retrofit our existing fixtures. Not all that exciting but we feel strongly about taking better care of our environment. |
