Prince of Peace Celebrates its 50th Anniversary
Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Winnipeg is celebrating its 50th year of ministry in Windsor Park. We will be having a Wine and Cheese reception at the Church October 15, 2010, 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Tickets $5.00 can be reserved by calling the Church. A Celebration Banquet Gala will be October 16, 2010 and a Special Worship service on October 17, 2010. We ask you to mark these dates on your calendar and encourage you to join us in the celebration. Attend one event or all three. Invite your whole family. It wouldn't be the same without you! The 50th Anniversary Banquet will be held at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg South located at 1330 Pembina Highway. The banquet will begin at 5:30 pm. Please purchase your tickets in advance to this blessed event as soon as possible. Cost per adult is $30.00, children 12 and under $15.00. You can purchase tickets by by calling the Prince of Peace office at (204) 256-8712. Leave your name and number and the Planning Committee will return your call. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Winnipeg South. A Dynamic Worship service is planned with a special guest speaker and exceptional music. It will be held at 1:00 pm, October 17, 2010, fellowship with dessert and coffee to follow. We are looking for past choir members to perform at the service.
